Steam Discussions →How to Spectate in Super Battle Golf
Spectating lets you watch ongoing matches without playing. It's useful for learning from better players, scouting a lobby before joining, or just watching friends compete.
Spectate from the lobby browser
- From the main menu, select Join.
- Browse the available lobbies list.
- Instead of clicking Join, click Spectate on any active match.
- You'll enter the match as a silent observer — no controls, no ball.
- Press Esc to leave spectator mode at any time.
Spectate after being eliminated
In certain game modes (such as Battle Royale), you can spectate remaining players after your ball is eliminated. The game will automatically switch you to spectator view — use the camera controls to follow different players.
Community Tips
- Use Discord to fill lobbies fast — post in #looking-for-game and you'll usually have a full 8-player lobby within minutes.
- Share clips on Reddit — the community loves trick shots, Elephant Gun propulsion clips, and chaotic multi-player moments.
- Follow the Discord for patch notes — updates are posted there before anywhere else, often with developer commentary.
- Report bugs on Discord or Steam — the dev team at Brimstone is active and responsive to community reports.
