Crossplay
On PC, the answer is simple: Steam players can play together already. The bigger question now is whether PC-to-console crossplay will arrive with the PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 releases. That part has not been confirmed yet.
Matchmaking
Public lobbies and friend play remain core to the game's appeal. If you are joining from PC today, the current answer is still straightforward:
- Browse open lobbies and filter by ping
- Create private rooms for friends
- Use built-in voice and social tools
- Expect more platform-specific questions once consoles launch
